Man Caught Soliciting 12-Year-Old Via Text

McAllen (KFXV) -- A man is sentenced to federal prison after trying to seduce who he thought was a 12 year old online. Turns out, the man was communicating, mainly via text-- with special agents in an undercover operation. He attempted to entice this "minor" into having sex with him and planned on meeting her at a park. He was arrested upon his arrival and admitted to the crime. The 25-year-old will serve 10 years in federal prison and after that he'll have to restrict his access to children, and the internet for five years and register as a sex offender.
