San Benito (KFXV) — Police have issued a ‘welfare concern’ alert involving two minors.
They’re now asking the public’s help to locate the children.
Authorities are currently looking for Christian Osvaldo Lopez-Hernandez– for the alleged abuse of two minors. Police fear the children might be in danger.
The investigation surfaces after a missed appointment with Child Protective Services where 36-year-old, Christian Osvaldo Lopez-Hernandez faces accusations of allegedly abusing 11-year-old Alondra Sanchez-Rosales and her 15-year-old brother, Brandon Rosales-Sanchez.
After searching for the family, investigators determined she left her san benito home with only some personal items.
Police think the children are now in Mexico with their mother, Juana Juarez-Rosales– who is in a relationship with the suspect, but have reason to believe he might still be in the valley.
Officials tell us, Lopez-Hernandez has a criminal history involving charges of ‘injury to a child’.
He was last seen driving an older model, white Cavalier with license plates TVF367.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of these children or the suspect, you are asked to contact police at (956)361-3880.
